The Clap Switch Application is an innovative IoT and embedded systems project that enables users to control an LED or electrical device through simple clap commands. Using an Arduino microcontroller and a sound sensor, the system detects sound pulses and processes them using interrupt-based programming for fast and reliable response. A double clap turns the device ON, while a single clap turns it OFF, creating a touch-free and user-friendly control mechanism. The project introduces students to key concepts such as sensors, microcontrollers, interrupts, signal processing, and smart automation, making it an engaging way to explore real-world applications of STEM and IoT technologies.
